Accessibility Statement
Last updated July 30, 2026. Rent Me CT is working toward an accessible website and customer portal for people with disabilities.
Our Commitment
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as we improve the public website, Supabase fleet, and customer portal. This is a goal and ongoing process, not a claim that every page or third-party service has completed a formal conformance audit.
Accessibility Features
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, dialogs, privacy controls, and visible focus indicators.
- A skip link to move directly to main content.
- Semantic headings, labels, status messages, and programmatic names for interactive controls.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and decorative treatment for images that do not add information.
- Responsive layouts, zoom-friendly controls, color contrast review, and reduced-motion support.
- Focus containment and Escape-key support for major dialogs.
Technology and Testing
The site is designed for current versions of major browsers, responsive desktop and mobile layouts, keyboard navigation, and common screen-reader/browser combinations. We perform code review, automated checks, and manual keyboard and responsive checks as pages change. Assistive technology behaves differently across combinations, and third-party Stripe, map, insurance, or Wheelbase pages are controlled by those providers.
Known and Ongoing Work
We continue reviewing form labels and validation, focus order, status announcements, image descriptions, document-upload workflows, contrast, zoom and text reflow, and third-party handoffs. If an online step is difficult to use, call or text us and we will work with you on a reasonable alternative for the requested rental task.
Report an Accessibility Issue
Use our contact page, call or text 860-558-6031, or mail Rent Me CT at 12 Holmes Circle, Farmington, CT. Include the page or step, what you were trying to do, the browser or assistive technology used if known, and a way to contact you. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and provide a progress update or practical alternative as soon as reasonably possible.
