Acceptance and Company Information
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Ancona Enterprises, Inc., a Connecticut corporation doing business as Rent Me CT (“Rent Me CT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the website, Supabase fleet, customer portal, or related online services, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services. A signed master rental agreement, addendum, invoice, or confirmed reservation controls if it conflicts with these website terms.
Website Information
Rent Me CT tries to keep vehicle, feature, photo, price, mileage, deposit, insurance, tax, fee, and availability information accurate, but website content may change without notice and an error does not bind Rent Me CT. Final availability, eligibility, totals, documents, insurance review, deposits, payment, and vehicle condition are confirmed through checkout, staff review, and the signed rental agreement.
Reservations & Checkout
Submitting dates, creating a rental record, selecting a vehicle, or starting checkout does not guarantee a rental. A rental is not approved until Rent Me CT confirms availability, identity and age eligibility, required documents, payment, deposit, insurance, and any required staff review. A temporary checkout hold may expire. The calendar and vehicle status may block overlapping bookings, turnaround time, maintenance, overdue vehicles, and other physical-return holds.
Pricing, Payments, and Taxes
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. The checkout summary will identify the rental amount, applicable taxes, security deposit, discounts, and total due before you are sent to Stripe. Internal charge templates are not included in public quotes or checkout. If an additional charge is later applied to a specific rental under the signed rental agreement and applicable law, it will be itemized separately. We accept payment methods made available by Stripe.
We may correct an obvious pricing or calculation error before accepting a reservation. Discounts are subject to their stated conditions and may not be combined unless expressly allowed.
Security Deposits, Refunds, and Deposit Returns
A security deposit may be collected or held before pickup. After the vehicle is returned, Rent Me CT may inspect mileage, fuel, cleanliness, smoke or odor, damage, tolls, tickets, late return, and other amounts authorized by the signed rental agreement. Rent Me CT may submit a full or specific partial refund through Stripe. The customer portal or payment provider may show the refund after it is submitted, but bank posting time is controlled by Stripe and the customer's financial institution.
A deposit is not released merely because the scheduled return time passed. It remains subject to physical return, inspection, open toll or ticket review, disputes, and the signed rental agreement. See the Rental Policies for a plain-language summary.
Chargebacks and billing questions: Contact Rent Me CT promptly if you believe a charge, refund, deposit return, toll, or added amount is incorrect so we can review the Stripe payment and rental records. Nothing in these terms limits a lawful right to dispute a charge with your card issuer. Knowingly submitting false information in a payment dispute or chargeback may violate the signed rental agreement or applicable law.
Cancellations, Schedule Changes, and Extensions
Contact Rent Me CT before pickup to request a cancellation or schedule change. Eligibility for a refund or credit depends on the confirmed reservation, payment record, timing, third-party provider terms, and signed rental agreement. An extension or vehicle exchange is not effective until Rent Me CT approves it and any required insurance update and payment are complete. Continuing to possess a vehicle after the scheduled return without approval may result in late, additional-day, recovery, or other charges allowed by the agreement and law.
Tolls, Tickets, Mileage, Fuel, Cleaning, and Damage
The renter is responsible for tolls, parking or traffic violations, excess mileage, fuel differences, cleaning or smoke remediation, damage, recovery, and related charges when stated in the signed rental agreement or allowed by law. Toll transactions may be matched using the vehicle plate, transaction time, rental window, and customer assigned to that vehicle. Contact us promptly if a toll or charge appears assigned to the wrong rental so we can review the vehicle, time, and source record.
Insurance
Every renter must have valid insurance before pickup. Customers may bring valid personal auto insurance, review third-party insurance options listed on this website, or choose available Wheelbase insurance options during checkout. Unless confirmed in writing, Rent Me CT does not provide primary insurance.
Third-Party Websites
This website links to third-party checkout, payment, map, and insurance resources. Rent Me CT is not responsible for third-party websites, coverage decisions, prices, terms, approvals, claim handling, privacy practices, or errors. Review each provider's terms before buying or relying on a service.
Accounts and Customer Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and current information, use the services lawfully, review rental requirements before booking, keep login credentials and verification codes private, notify us of suspected unauthorized access, and use only your own account unless you are legally authorized to act for another person. You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law.
Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities
You may not misuse the services or help another person do so. Prohibited conduct includes attempting unauthorized access; bypassing identity, document, payment, availability, rate-limit, or security controls; introducing malware; scraping or copying protected content at disruptive scale; impersonating another person; submitting false or stolen documents or payment methods; probing for vulnerabilities without written permission; interfering with another customer's rental; or using the services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.

Ownership and Intellectual Property
The website, portal software, design, text, graphics, logos, photographs owned by Rent Me CT, and compilations are owned by or licensed to Rent Me CT and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use the services for personal rental and account purposes. No ownership is transferred. Third-party names, marks, and content remain the property of their owners.
No Legal or Insurance Advice
Website content is general information, not legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice. Contact your insurer, card issuer, or licensed professional to confirm whether coverage applies to your rental.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and portal are provided “as is” and “as available.” Rent Me CT does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or that every vehicle, feature, price, photo, link, or third-party service will remain available. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rent Me CT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or portal, loss of access, third-party services, or reliance on website content. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited by law and does not replace the allocation of responsibility in a signed rental agreement.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Rent Me CT and its officers, employees, and agents harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the services, fraud, infringement, or breach of these terms. This section does not expand indemnity beyond what applicable law permits.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate online access, cancel an unapproved request, or restrict a user when reasonably necessary to protect customers, vehicles, payments, systems, legal compliance, or enforce these terms. Termination does not cancel payment, return, toll, damage, dispute, confidentiality, or other obligations that by their nature continue.
Governing Law and Venue
Connecticut law governs these website terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. Disputes concerning these terms may be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Connecticut, subject to any controlling dispute provision in a signed rental agreement. These website terms do not create a mandatory arbitration agreement.
Changes, Severability, and Entire Agreement
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and updating the date above. Changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. These website terms, the Privacy Policy, and any signed rental or transaction documents form the applicable agreement for their respective subjects.
